Have walked along the Royal Wootton Bassett section of this canal on many occasions and more recently the newest section to be opened. It is a wonderful and quite place to walk and see lots of varied wildlife. I wish the canal trust every success...More

I went past the canal today , there is alteration work going on large scale .Large diggers moving earth every where , I think they are expanding the whole area .

There are Fish (Perch..Roach..) , Ducks , Moorhens,Herons etc etc in/ on this strech of Canal. It's a Canal......boats should be on it & using it, this adds to the attraction & keeps things moving on it so the water dosent... More
