I took my two young children just to get out in the fresh air and I was very pleasantly surprised. Considering there were a lot of dog walkers, with and without the family in tow, I never spotted any dog mess left behind. Very clean and tidy. We will definitely be coming back to venture a bit further next time... More

Amazing walk in well maintained woods with a nice lake, only criticism is the need for more dog bins to dispose of the mess.

Lovely Woodland Park just outside Swindon.Plenty of parking. Great place to walk a dog- or take children, or just to stroll around and enjoy the woods and lake. You can stay on the paths or go the more scenic routes through the woods and into the fields. A very relaxing and pleasant place to visit!

A lovely park for strolling round or dog walking. No toilets though. There is a rangers station which during school holidays and bank holidays runs events. Best to check details on council website first.

Went here on the 13/02/17 for the first time with our dogs and what beautiful and peaceful place it is.We walk a circular walk passed the lake and saw lots of type's of birds and lots of birds singing. As we were pressed for time we only did a short walk. But we visit again and follow all the marked routes.

We've lived in the area for 20 years and didn't realise this existed until very recently... Lovely place for a walk by the lake and through the woods. Clearly laid out paths, and the option - on certain days - to stop for a coffee on your way round. Great place for kids and pets to run free and let... More

Took the dog here for a walk again. The car park feels nice and safe so no need for the lead at all, which is always an experience with an excited labrador! There's plenty of tracks around the park which are being gradually improved and it's nice to see the Council and volunteers investing time and money here.

A lovely place to visit and explore. Lake is good for a walk either way round. The Barn is now home to'Twigs' coffee break. Raising money for a well deserved charity. Also a charity art display with crafts available for purchase. Which is there and makes interesting conversation with local artists, volunteers and has a nice friendly feel about it.
