Beautiful

Beautiful place to go and spend time with the kid's just walk and relax, wild and nature no words to describe how nice is, a lot of pictures I took, my kids really enjoyed.

Been going to Coate Water since I was a child and now I take my own children there and have done for many years. I think it's the pure simplicity of it that takes us back..not to mention the amazing food the little hut has to serve (the cakes are heavenly) and the hot food is served fresh and HOT.... More

As one brought up a few minutes from London's Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, I feel Coate could have graciousness, focus, interest, design, lawns, foutains and some birds and yet it has a baldness and lack of warmth, a featureless rather basic feel to it.

The kids love coate water, the mini train and the water Park. They also love the walks and kicking leaves or jumping in muddy puddles. Well worth a visit

Lovely walks, interesting old Victorian lido, beautiful wildfowl. Could do with a bit of a clean up, or just educate visitors that rubbish and poobags are their responsibility.

The lake and surroundings are very pleasant however it has been severely let down by the imposition of parking charges by the short-sighted Swindon Borough Councillors. It's a lake with a footpath to walk around - not a museum and nothing that should have parking charges imposed.

Stopped off here on our way back from Swindon, and were pleasantly surprised. Nice walks, plenty of bird life and a good cafe to stop off at on the way back

I must be honest, I thought this was going to rubbish. I went on Saturday to my nephews 4th birthday party; 3 hours, 13 kids and as many adults; I was dreading it. I needn't have. EVERYONE had a brilliant time. The Train track is about 650 metres long (recently extended) and takes about 5 minutes per ride. The ride... More
