Been several times and we never get bored, my kids love all the interactive exhibits and the price is really reasonable. Would love to see more bits in the kids activity area as it feels a bit basic now but otherwise a great day out

The fact that the museum is located in the old GWR works makes the place more interesting. So the building itself is also part of the museum. Great videos showing the works in use with commentaries from people who had worked there. Exhibits were impressive....More

The people were great, my husbands mobility isn't great so we got a motorised scooter, making the day so much easier. There was no charge for this, also got the parking free. Had a good spend and thoroughly enjoyed our day. Would deffinately recommend This...More

Came as a 80th birthday surprise for my Dad and had a great time. We've been to the York Railway museum and this is nicely different. Nice Café as well.

Hi, only just seen your question, yes there are disabled parking spaces and also wheelchairs available.

They will open the gate outside Steam . Give them a ring. Reception are very helpful
