Very old church right in the heart of the city of Gloucester, no access inside at present as there is extensive work in progress inside. The church does need attention, as does the graveyard, maybe this is the start of the project. Very little information...More

We had looked forward to exploring Gloucester with its quirky historic remnants of churches, monasteries etc. scattered around its centre. However, except for the cathedral most of the historical attractions seem to be closed in winter, and on top of that St. Mary is now...More

Being a fan of George Whitefield it was a great joy to visot this church where he preached his first sermon... the informal tour guides were very informative and helpful. May the proclamation of the Gospel of Christ continue from this church.

When we walked by the church the first time, it was closed but fortunately when we walked by it on our return journey, it had opened for a very limited time. This very old church is very beautiful and impressive inside, and really compliments the...More

Visited during our walk around Gloucester Docks area this Sunday. Unfortunately the church is shut Sundays ?????????? It looked rather decrepit with untidy grave yard and the church appeared to be used as a store room from what we could see through the windows.........
