We regularly visit the gallery. They have a good selection of exhibitions throughout the year. It’s not a huge gallery but It is definitely worth a visit and of course it’s free,

This used to be the town hall but has been converted into an art gallery. Friendly staff and some great pictures (we saw the 'From today, painting is dead' exhibition. I particularly liked the two paintings by John Atkinson Grimshaw.

This is a little gem. Quite unpreposessing it has only a limited capacity but it is well laid out and well lit and the staff are helpful and charming. If you need to kill time in Harrogate this is the place.

Wonderful Art Gallery. Free entrance. I like the freedom and joy the children have around the art and craft table. Very welcoming staff (volunteers?). We love going. Thank you all for making our visits so pleasant.

Interesting selection of art by mainly local artists. Plenty of seats to sit and admire the paintings and photographs. Friendly staff and small gift shop. Free entry

A free gallery with a donation box at the entrance. There is a main gallery (look up at the skylights!) sectioned into several smaller spaces and a side gallery currently showing an exhibition by cartoon artist Posy Simmonds. Some excellent works by John Atkinson Grimshaw...More
