Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Played this course on and off for the last 10 years and owing to the shared membership with nearby haste hill and that courses demise I have spent most time on this course ,this really suits the higher handicapers with forgivingly flat par 4,5s,with wide fairways, and some interesting holes,my particular favourite is the 9th, driving down a tree lined hill giving you a nice approach into a big well kept green.
I must say I am biased as I spend most Sundays supping a pint in what is essentially a comfortable public bar complete with Sky tv, people can and do eat in here but the main restaurant is at the back of the building and is akin to a harvester the food being good value ,their is also a large well kept patio area with tables and chairs and a large well kept driving range and pro shop which I believe is going when the course closes(,bloody HS2).all in all a great day out for golfers and families alike, its a crying shame their plonking a poxy train line here.

Such a terrible shame that this friendly venue will someday be bulldozed to dust to make way for the white elephant known as HS2. In the meantime, experience the sports (golf range) and entertainment (weekly comedy club) as well as an unpretentious bar restaurant pitched at the Harvester audience with value as the centerpiece.

We were here last night for a great party upstairs in the Hillingdon & returned today to collect our car & decided to have dinner in the Fairway restaurant. We had two roast dinners & we have to say it was really good value for money. The food was served hot & decent portions. Not the best roast I have ever had but certainly not the worst. Chloe, our waitress, was very attentive. I would return. If your looking for a reasonable priced hot meal this certainly tickets all the boxes.

We held hubbies 65th birthday party here, inviting around 190 family and friends to celebrate. From the off Emma was on the case from booking the party, liaising with our band & organising the food with us. The party itself was fantastic, the food was tasty and plentiful, the bar staff very efficient and the music very good. Our guests were very impressed and had the most fantastic evening. A huge, huge thanks to Emma & the team for making a special night a fantastic night.

The pub is called The Fairway and is across the road from West Ruislip Station. It is a big comfortable pub which serves cheap food. There is a play area for younger children and a garden area where they can run around. They do plain English meals at very reasonable prices, starting at two meals for £8.99. They also do larger appetite meals, which are huge.
A good place to go with the children without spending a fortune.

Gone very much downhill food not as good as it used to be, wrong orders, Luke food food, staff still pleasant.was told that the table we had been sat out was reserved for 5pm so we would have to have finished our food by that stage this was at 3.30 we hadn't even ordered our meals We had been coming here for years but I don't think we will be returning. The soft play area although in theory is a great idea, it doesn't really work it too small too many children trying to play in there lots of tears from children as other bigger children are being too rough, the poor girl in charge of that area looked run ragged, hope they are paying her well. Sorry the Fairway but you have lost a regular large family. Disappointed does not really come close

Family dinner on Boxing Day. The beef had been re-heated and was tasteless. Service was ok but slow. Had a feeling that they would rather not have had the restaurant open. Have been there on other occasions and everything was fine, good food, good service. But sadly on this occasion they let themselves down and won't be going again

We used to go there a lot, but since they put in an indoor climbing frame, less so - though it must be great for families with children. The food is OK, very good value, service is helpful - always somewhere to park and a nice outside space in the summer
