Visited here recently on a really quiet day so our tour was a small number of people which was brilliant. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made the whole tour really interesting and a pleasure. The house is full of beautiful pieces and pictures and although the major works of art are now in the National Museum in Dublin there... More

The history of the house and the legacy of the Beits are captured fantastically. Really enjoyed our tour guide and the interactive centre in the basement of the house. We spent 3 hours in the house itself and took a walk around the parkland after getting something to eat. If it was not for our experience in the tea rooms... More

We went here on a sunny bank holiday, its a popular spot. the €2 car park fee on entry caught a lot of people out- people were going up to others cars looking for change.. there are a lot of things you can do for free here- all the walks and the fairy trails (lots of doors to spot). theres... Russborough House is a well rested Pallladian mansion filled with many treasures. Many rooms contain superb stucco work, marle fireplaces, and mahogany doorways. The collections of silver, porcelin ,Gobelin tapestries, and period furnishings are magnificent. The Best Art Collection of Flemish, Dutch, and Spanish Old Masters are world renown. The tour is informative and the grounds beautiful. Had lunch in the tea room and... More

The beauty at Russborough helped me to relax. Having relaxed I was more able for the dozens of things to notice with every step. Go in April and May when the Rhododendrons are in bloom. I can't wait till May for the walled gardens to open

Visited this lovely Palladian mansion on our Irish tour. House is decorated in the baroque style and while not my taste was impressive. Would have liked to know more about the people who lived there, but tour focussed on the artwork showcased. Would be a good tour if it out were an art lover, but maybe not as exciting for... More

Got a present of a year's membership at Christmas. Fantastic value at only €35. Can go as often as I like for free and bring guests with a discount on the house tour of 25% and 10% in the cafe and shop, as well as free parking. Russborough gets no government funding and have just spent €500,000 on roof renovations... More

Very nice place with something for everyone. We are at the stage with two young kids that lovely walks, fairy trails and the playground are the main priority. There is a lot more to here. Great spot

Hadn't been here in years, its a great house and grounds, lovely coffee shop reasonably priced. Could easily spend a long afternoon here , house tour, maze falconry centre, gardens and nice walking paths so plenty to do. Might be worth trying to book house tour in advance as it has restricted numbers on the tour and gets busy.
