It's a lovely drive with plenty of little bays to explore. There are couple of points of interest, most notedly Hook Lighthouse. Great tour, definitely worth a visit!

On a wild January day, Ring of Hook has to be seen to be believed! The storms lashed the base of the lighthouse, and we rushed indoors where we had a lovely light meal and a tour of this historic site.

This was a very enjoyable drive the highlight is Hook light house (highly recommend the tour). However being lovers of ruins, we enjoyed visiting, Duncannon fort, (unfortunately closed) templars church and hook church as well as fethard castle along the way.

It's a long way out there but worth the drive. Lighthouse and surrounding buildings were well kept, nice little luncheonette & gift shop. Some nice pieces of old equipment and very beautiful views from all sides.
