This was my first full day of driving in Ireland. The roads are narrow and curvy but the Hook Light house was worth the drive. We spent 2 hours walking around the grounds. Lots of parking.

Wonderful views and walks. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful spot to watch a sunset. There is a lovely coffee shop that serves nice GF Seafood Chowder along with other options.

We took the drive out to see the lighthouse. Very scenic and we stopped for photos quite a few times. We did not do the lighthouse tour. There are restrooms, cafe and a gift shop there.

Hook is a great place regardless the weather: sunshine, snow, wind, fog, it is always magical. Great place to appreciate nature. ,

We actually drove over from Waterford, but we had absolutely no problems with finding our way on Ring of Hook. There were plenty of good signs - especially where there were choices at an intersection. We did use a brochure... More
