Worth the visit. Even if you don't do the guided tour around the lighthouse. We visited in the good weather, the views were spectacular. Cafe there as well, not sure if it's open all year round. Bring your camera. We saw seals!

We did the tour which was very interesting (and the only way to go inside the lighthouse). Fabulous place and very interesting to find out the history.

Having done a lot of the Wild Atlantic Way, this drive does not compare. However, it is a nice drive if you are in the area and looking for something to do.

Great location for watching the world go by. Quite busy with lots of families, but there was so much to do for kids, including pirate entertainers. Scones in the tea shop were great

Lovely location and plenty to do and see. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dogs allowed outside but not inside. Great activities for kids - giant Jenga, space hoppers, arts and crafts. Hook is worth the visit.

We actually drove over from Waterford, but we had absolutely no problems with finding our way on Ring of Hook. There were plenty of good signs - especially where there were choices at an intersection. We did use a brochure... More
