Was lucky to see this in October which was very quiet so was able to wander freely & take in all the wonderful attention to detail. Journey through 9000 years of Irish history in a few hours. From prehistory through early Christian to the Viking & Norman invasions. A must see if you are visiting Wexford. Nice cafe too.

Visited with 3 young boys in July What a fantastic place my boys just loved it The first half of the walk was a step though prehistory and as the kids could touch, pound, run on/in/over/round everything they loved it i think they might have even listened to some of the history being read to them We hit the coffee... We went there in January 2017 and it was great. It costs 9.50€, but definitely worth every penny. Entertainment for all family. You can have lots of fun and learn lots of stuff. There are real life villages that look like someone is actually living there. Definitely will come back. Strongly recommend this.

Two tips. 1. At anytime of the year, bring a torch. 2. In winter, bring wellingtons for young children. A great recreation of aincient settlements. Allow about 75 minutes for the tour, and another 30 minutes to cover parts of the site not included in the tour. Tour guide was great - really helped to bring you back in time... More

This park is a fantastic place to visit when in Wexford. We stopped by on a cold Sunday morning in November but still had a great time walking around to all the different exhibits -crannogs, fulacht fias, Viking ships- most are replicas but the last stop is at an original Norman tower. It's informative without being too in depth and... More

I'll say up front I live near the Heritage Park and I attend a number of functions a year there and use the restaurant frequently. That said it is the first place I bring any friends I have visiting. The reconstructions have been painstakingly researched and built by conservation specialists who keep traditional building methods alive. If you are lucky... More

After living in Wexford for over 10 years I had no idea this gem was right around the corner from me, It has some gorgeous installations with a great attention to detail. I am very interested in the staying overnight in the ringfort next summer along with the other activities.
