Its a lovely breech but when we visited in June 2017 the water was closed due to contamination. It a lovely area with nice cafes and poubs in the village. Not much parking around.

The part of the beach by the campsite is a little stony and weedy but towards town it is full if golden sand. Lifeguards are on stand for safety and locals tend to park in the beach for various reasons. A good beach to walk...More
Huge beach with great facilities. Pubs and cafes close by. Very popular but lots of room for everyone. Take care driving through the village on busy days.
Visited here during a sunny afternoon. The waters are shallow and safe for kids. The beach is clean and very suitable for kids.
Lovely long beach that you can drive on and park ,which is very usefull as parking is limited in Ducannon village.A beautiful place and a very friendly village.
It's a very sunny village and is great for swimming in .however on occasion there are jellyfish but there small and harmless

A fabulously long beach with very fine, soft sand. You can take a long walk across Duncannon Beach and back to walk off all the delicious food and Guinness available in the area!
Visited recently and brought back memories of childhood with cars on the beach and daddies listening to the hurling on the radio. A great beach you can walk for ages on. Relatively safe to swim on.
