Amazing breakfast scrambled eggs , clonakikty black pudding , chorizo and sourdough bread ! The downside is the restaurant doesn't open until 10 and closes at 4! so it's really only suitable for a leisurely weekend breakfast . Super lunch menu here also goats cheese salad to die for !

Visited during the day with a group of 3. Found it a lot more interesting than I had expected it to be. Beautiful building and an enjoyable experience.

Located conveniently across the street from the Waterford Experience, is Bishop's Palace. The history of the building comes alive as the costumed docents lead you through a number of the rooms. Their personality shines through without being overly done. The building, furniture, and artwork throughout are lovely and worth a visit.

What a great building with an amazing items throughout. Richie brought it all to life for us, really enjoyed, thank you. Lots and lots to see in each room. The Waterford crystal on display is some, if not the oldest to survive. Exhibition at top of building a must, great photographs of times past.

This place is probably the most stunning building in Waterford and you will get the best views from across the road from the Waterford crystal centre .

The 10 Euro entry fee also includes entry to the medieval museum next door. Entry is by guided tour and our tour guide Liam was great. He really made the place interesting and pointed out some great things. The Bishops house is an 18th century residence, so not particularly old but Liam gave us plenty of history from the 16th... It's a small "palace" and it's ok. Nothing fantastic or a must see. It's a 20 min attraction. If you are already in Waterford, go there, otherwise you won't miss anything.

Make sure you purchase this ticket in a combo with the medieval museum next door - it's worth the discounted price! An interesting house belonging to someone important. Honestly a little boring as it had mixed memorabilia of Ireland and the World Wars as well as some information about the Georgian occupants. A little confusing to be honest, and the... More
