We popped into this hotel for a quick drink and bite to eat but could have stayed forever. The staff were amazing!! We are from Australia and made some enquiries about a work family connection from Home who has family in Ireland. The gorgeous waiter actually rang the family for us and gave us instructions to get there. It was... More

Relaxed place with friendly staff. Great food with probably the best Beef & Guinness Pie ever. Plenty of other home cooked food to choose from.

Went here for a late lunch on Saturday, had the bacon ribs and colcannon was delicious. My wife had the baked potato which could have been more moist and come with a few more added condiments.

We went to Waterford to tour Waterford Crystal and that was great, but we happened upon The Munster by chance for supper and they have the most amazing food. It is a family owned/run business and they definitely know what they're doing. We had the sausage and potatoes along with the Guinness steak pie and we are still raving about... More

Stopped in the Munster Bar to have a late lunch while wandering Waterford. What a great choice. The food was awesome...Pork and applesauce just like Mom's. And the meringue raspberry dessert was heavenly. The decor and atmosphere is old pub charm. I'd recommend it to anyone stopping in Waterford.

We had lunch here after our Waterford Tour, the service was great, friendly staff & food & great price. Recommend getting the small dish, at 6.80 Euros, you get heaps.

We stayed in waterford for 2 nights and on both nights we ate in the Munster. The food was amazing and the staff were so nice especially Veronica, she was a gem! If anyone is heading to Waterford for a break call in to The Munster you wont regret it. Definately the best grub in town at very reasonable prices.

Thank Claire O
