Went on the Rose of Innisfree boat trip on Lough Gill. Stunning scenery and weather also made the trip so enjoyable. The poetry reading by the Skipper who got people to join in and the tea/coffee and scrumptious scones and jam made the trip perfect.

Hi Friends, I am coming from California, will be in Sligo for 2 days-Sept. 16th and 17th and would very much like to do this boat ride. 1. Shall I reserve now or wait to see the weather while there? 2. I am staying at The Riverside Hotel-Is that near the boat? Or can I get a ride to the boat? Thank you for your reply. Sincerely, Sondra

Hi Sondra, You can usually reserve it the day before, but can also reserve it well in advance, they offer a pick up and return service from several hotels in Sligo and also from the tourist office,
