A group of us decided to have a morning coffee. The service was extremely friendly and prompt. It was old world style and pleasing to the eye. Enjoyed our time there in pleasant surroundings. Staff very friendly.

Sorry - we drove from Sligo, not Dublin - can only suggest trying google maps for directions from Dublin - there are day trips from Dublin with various tour companies, if you don't have a car.

Don't know anything about staying in Tullamore. You could visit en route to the West but it is only about one third of the distance to Inishboffin.
