This is a memorable, wonderful whiskey tour and worthwhile! We stayed in town and went when it opened. They gave us free coffee and we enjoyed the barrels and pub! A warm welcome and then a start with a five minute movie. Then our tour guide Eta joined, and she went through it all step by step from grain, water... More

Went on the whiskey wise course which we found good value for money. You get to taste 6 whiskeys with a good tasting class. It not a working distillery but the tour gives you a glimpse into what it was like working in a distillery in the past along with the history of Tullamore Dew. The staff were friendly and... More

We visited Tullamore D.E.W. and did their Curious Tasters Tour/Experience (€12). Our guide was Marsha and she did an altogether excellent job. We visited on a midweek afternoon and it looked like the tours were hourly (12 noon had gone and we went on the 1 pm tour). The tour and tasting takes almost an hour. We could now (probably)... A misty day in the midlands a detour to Tullamore enjoyable hour. A tour at 2 o clock and then a late lunch after the tour finished off a very enjoyable visit to the midland area.

My wife and I stopped in Tullamore on our way from Clifden to Dublin just so we could visit the distillery. Tullamore DEW is my favorite whiskey and as long as I was half way around the world already I wasn't going to miss the opportunity. We ate lunch around 2 and signed up for the Whiskey Wise Masterclass. It... More

Just popped in for lunch, we just had burgers with chips and salad food was not amazing but good and nice size portions. The staff are helpful and plentiful ( must of been expecting a busy lunch). Very nice gift shop before the restaurant with a lovely cask clad bar to the back.

Firstly it is worth noting that this is a Visitor Centre Experience in the old Tullamore DEW Bonded Warehouse along the Grand Canal and not the actual production brewery. Luckily, I turned up just in time for a tour, but they appeared to be running quite regularly. The tour “The Curious Tasters Tour” was €12 per person including a tasting... More
