A nice surprise

Nice golf course, very friendly staff, good food. I wasn't expecting to find such a golfing gem - well maintained, good quality fairways and excellent, sufficiently tricky greens... read more

Went here as a family of 4 adults and 2 children and there was no high chairs available for us to use. Doesn't cater for children at all. No changing facilities either. Would avoid if planning a family trip. Can't comment on the food as we left before ordering.

Played Tullamore on Wednesday 25th May 2016. This is a wonderful parkland course, which is maintained to a very high standard. The rough is not very punitive, the fairways (generous) are in excellent condition and the greens are smooth and true. If you can't putt on these greens, well you can't putt anywhere. There is a variety of towering mature... More

Tip top parkland course. One of oldest courses in country and definitely one of best. Fairways very good. Greens true but slow. 16th is a class hole as is 4th. Last 7 holes are as tough a finishing stretch that you will find anywhere. Clubhouse adequate. Showers not great. Food so so. Well worth a visit if you are a... More

Played here course is OK was pleasant not very long. Nothing really stood out for me. It's worth playing if you are in the area but I do think that esker hills is a better course in the area. I wouldn't go out of my way to return here that being said there is nothing wrong with it.

Our pub golf society recently travelled to Tullamore golf club for 3rd outing of the year. We really enjoyed the facilities at this golf course. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. The golf course was in fantastic condition and we all enjoyed our day out. We will be back next year for sure.

Played in the open week , fantastic golf course , changing rooms are dated , bar staff friendly and welcoming. Then things go horribly wrong , I ordered the Cajun wrap , it came in a wrap alright with cheese , my playing partners ordered the burger priced at 9.50 so were expecting something special but the burger was bland... Nice golf course, very friendly staff, good food. I wasn't expecting to find such a golfing gem - well maintained, good quality fairways and excellent, sufficiently tricky greens. Whoever designed the course ensured every club in the bag is used. Accuracy off the tee will be rewarded as there are lovely old trees or water to corral errant shots. However... More

Our group played the course in 2007 and had a great days golf in brilliant sunshine returned this week and again the sun was shinning and the course in great condition. Followed the golf with a great meal by Mathew and his staff and Charlie behind the bar was serving 3 people at a time, sure he had two pairs... More
