Had a good read of all the wingers complaining about how crowded it was. Yes it was. Was it expensive? Yes it was. Was it full of Americans? Yes it was. Was there people talking too loud? Yes they were? Was it a great night?...More

Went here after reading other reviews. Authentic local music was good, bar service was fine but it was way too crowded. No food. Unfortunate otherwise it had the potential to be a great evening.

Never been to Watford before, but a concert in Colloseum brought me to this area. We just walked into a random pub as I was starving and couldn't be bothered to walk much further. Staff were great and very welcoming. We've ordered a pizza and...More

Matt Molloy's is widely recognised as the place to go for live music in Westport and a must visit spot. We went mid-week when the music was scheduled to start at 9:30 (a bit late really but it is what it is). Thought we would...More

Great craic here plenty of stags in the back bar. Brilliant trad music in the middle part of the pub. There is something there for everyone. Unfortunately Matt wasn't there tonight. Hopefully next time.

It was a Wednesday evening around 8:30 when the wife and I dropped by Matt Molloy's. People were shoulder to shoulder and you could hardly hear anything above the roar. After nursing a couple of pints each, breathing the stale air, and squeezed on small...More

I really can't give you an answer to that other than it's very long and narrow. Takes a lot of maneuvering to get to the back where the music is.
