My friends and I were unable to travel to Clare Island after booking it. Very kindly, this company refunded the tickets and very promptly. Very honourable and understanding in the circumstances. Highly recommend this trip with this wonderful company.

We've crossed to Clare Island several times, and often with 8 case of gear; suitcases and photo gear. It's a tough amount to travel with, especially schlepping The Gear up and down the stairs from Irish piers down to ferry boats - and up again....More

15 min boat journey..only 160 people living on Island... one shop and two eating places...only downside there was no one to guide you once off boat and everything had to be done by foor or bike.

Was a pleasure to use the ferry. The staff all very helpful. The journey was lovely and relaxing. Only down was no sign of dolphins but can't blame anyone for that!

They got as there as they promised; easy to book in advance. Not much in the way of service in Roonagh or at Clare Island, but they were friendly and helpful.

This is one of the nicest islands of the coast of Ireland, people are very friendly and the scenery and beaches are breathless. Well worth a day trip or a nights camping.

Hi, There is no food or drink facilities at Roonagh so we would advise you stop off in Westport or Louisburgh for something to eat.

Yes the ferry crossing is safe for children on board Clare Island Ferry Company's vessels. Just ask for the O'Gradys.

Hi, There is no street address, but it is at Roonagh Pier. There are signs to Roonagh from Westport and also coming from south of Roonagh. Just google it and you will see it on a map. It is a bit out in the country.
