The driver of our coach tour told us about this place and advised a visit. On entering the building it is a pub, but it surrounds the ruins of a church. It is very well preserved and well worth a visit.

The place was very quiet ( I visited on a Tuesday and Wednesday). However the place had a great appearance looked like a modernised inside of a castle). I had nice bar food and watched a football match on one of many large sceen TVs.

Very cool place in Kilkenny. Pub which is actually an old Abbey from Wales, transported from there and rebuilt stone by stone. Had great afternoon drinks

Had a pint of beer on arrival on this busy Main Street restaurant. Outside beer garden for smokers and huge main bar area with remains of ruined old buildings incorporated in the space
