Dunmore caves were very interesting. The staff was awesome and talked us into a Heritage card which allowed us free entry. If you are in bad shape... probably shouldn't go. We had a few people huffing and puffing their way back out.

Price of guided tour was very cheap, only 10 euro for the family which took about 40 ins. The tour guide himself was very knowledgeable and delivered the tour very well. Nice cafe to have a coffee afterwards. Not suitable for any persons with disabilities.

Absolutely loved it. Very knowledgable guide. Full of stories about the cave as well as its origins. 700 steps down to cave which is very wet, even in summer, so care is needed. Also it's very dark so maybe not suitable for children. One thing...More

Hi, I went in a party with a couple who'd brought their young children along (3 and 7). The children loved it but the youngest had to be carried up a lot of steps, so you'd need to be physically very fit to manage. The guide... More
