Just back from a holiday in Co.Kerry. Blennerville Windmill not open to public. Sad as there was visitors trying the doors also looking for coffee in cafe. It also was not open.

Drove to it and it was closed. Pity it looks a lovely spot. Lots of attractions closed around Kerry still.

This is a lovely windmill with a great history, unfortunately it has restricted opening times, does not open till April, which is a shame, because there are a lot of tourists about at this time of the year.

Lovely cafe on site and great view of Tralee bay. A walk on the canal on the other side of bridge makes for a lovely few hours.

A very good video and exhibition area, plus a wonderful miniature train area. Staff and guide are incredibly enthusiastic and helpful.

This was great! Everyone was accommodating and nice. They have a total of three museums one was to do with the famine and ships. The next is the windmill and going up and learning and seeing how everything worked was excellent the staff was very nice and informative. On the way out is a small train museum and that was... Visited in Nov16 and although well into the winter/windy season the windmill was so great to see. The staff are very personal and friendly, and the tour of the windmill is so informative even the kids loved it! The children were taught how flour was made by hand using mill stones and were able to try it out for themselves.... More
