This park has the largest intact oldwood remaining in Ireland, and the most amazing yew grove I've ever seen. Muckross House and grounds are spectacular, the views from all around the park are incredible. For years I avoided this area because I was told it...More

We went for a pony ride in the park and it was wonderful. Very cool red deer running about. Would definitely recommend.

The park itself is something to be seen. The views and landscapes are undeniably beautiful. We arrived in a light rain. The waterfall was flowing at maximum capacity and made for some incredible photos. Since we were driving, we thought that continuing around the back...More

If you go to Ireland, you must visit Killarney National Park, no ifs ands or buts. Plan a full day, start at the Gap of Dunloe, drive through the Black Valley, make your way to Ladies' View, visit the lakes, go to Muckross House, see...More

We took the guided tour with Killarney Guided Walks. The beauty of this park is unsurpassed! We walked for 3 hours and enjoyed the trees, birds, and wildlife! Absolute solitude!

If you have time on you trip this place is worth a visit. Take a tour by horse drawn carriage for starters and relax while you tour the park.

We didn't have a car, but took on some of the walking paths through this beautiful park. It was a really nice day, so that made it perfect. We saw the red deer (native to this park), Ross Castle, among other things.

Loved the park. Saw it by boat returning from walking the Gap. Patrick our captain and his fir-legged-mate Sam were great hosts.

Highly recommend a walk or bike trip through the park. The park is clean, beautiful, historic and offers so much to see by walking, biking or jaunting car. There are many trails. We spent an afternoon walking to Muckross Abbey, Muckross House and Torc Waterfall...More

Breathtaking. Could spend a week walking there but we saw a lot in 3 hours. Weather was not great but still beautiful. Ladies View is spectacular.

Unfortunately if you don't want tourist trap routes, don't go to Killarney. We were warned that it would be busy with tourists everywhere, and it was. At the end of the day we were tourists too. However, it did not take away... More

The area is still populated ( very sparsely), and the tracks are meant for locals who reside in the area. The tracks are not meant for regular traffic. The tracks would not stand up to more than they currently experience... More

Hi, we didn't walk to Torc I'm afraid, we drove out. It is a distance out of town and we had kids with us which restricted us from walking......but it would be about 1.5 hours walk from Killarney town centre if that helps... More
