If you get a chance take a "Jaunting Ride" through the park. This is a great park with wildlife, amazing views and Ross Castle.

Get you and your family to this location. The parks and the nature is amazing Eat at the restaurant however bringing a picnic is the better option A must do in Kerry

The park was beautiful. The scenery spectacular and not extremely crowded. We toured in October and were glad we did. The crowds had thinned substantially.

We always go for a walk in the National Park the day after a night out in Killarney. It always helps cure my hangover before I drive home. We usually walk to Ross Castle or Muckross House. Keep your eyes peeled for some deer.

Being a horse lover, I thought taking a ride through Killarney National Park would be fun. The cart driver, Ultan Breen, (and his horse Pearl), made the experience one I will never forget. This man touched my heart... Ultan is a wealth of knowledge, telling...More

Even if it’s raining, take a ride in a horse drawn cart and enjoy some time admiring an unspoiled park. Fields, lakes, beautiful forest and glen, and an entertaining driver who made sure we were dry (plastic curtains on the cart to protect us), and...More

Beautiful National Park with trails for hiking and biking and also Muckross Estate and abbey for tours. There are gardens around the estate and also a nice restaurant/gift shop. You can take jaunty car tours to different sights or walk. It was free to enter...More

We spent a day there but wanted more. Riding a bike through it was best to cover more ground. Innisfallen island was our favorite place to visit in the park but Muckross house and Torc waterfall were great! Really good food at Muckross house so...More

An awesome part of Ireland with lakes and mountains that are inspiring. We only drove a small part of the park and the Ring of Kerry but imagine it must offer various stunning locations to walk climb and fish in warmer seasons.

Unfortunately if you don't want tourist trap routes, don't go to Killarney. We were warned that it would be busy with tourists everywhere, and it was. At the end of the day we were tourists too. However, it did not take away... More

The area is still populated ( very sparsely), and the tracks are meant for locals who reside in the area. The tracks are not meant for regular traffic. The tracks would not stand up to more than they currently experience... More

Hi, we didn't walk to Torc I'm afraid, we drove out. It is a distance out of town and we had kids with us which restricted us from walking......but it would be about 1.5 hours walk from Killarney town centre if that helps... More
