We drove through this park on parts of three consecutive days. At various time during our trips, we drank in the views, hiked, viewed the Torc Waterfall and visited Muckross House and Gardens. All the views and activities were well worth our time. We were...More

We played golf at the Killarney Golf and Fishing Club in the park and then took a scenic drive through the park, stopping at Ross Castle. Beautiful area.

A very narrow road will wind you through the very varied terrain, up and down hills and around curves. Stop for a hike at a waterfall, to walk around the grounds of the Muckross House, or to just take in the views.

We took a jaunting car through part of the Park on our way to Ross Castle. The scenery in the park was just beautiful. Only wish we had more time to do a bit of hiking but would recommend visiting Killarney National Park.

We stayed for 2 nights only and spent only half a day at this park. The Lakes were stunning and the drive to Ladies View was pretty. There are trails that you can take. Worth spending at least 2-3 hours here.

So much to see and so much beauty around every corner. We climbed Torc mount and love the views. Be sure to check out the route in advance because the signposting is inadequate.

Beautiful place, spectacular views, but very narrow dangerous roads, you have to be very careful driving here, but love this place.

Unfortunately if you don't want tourist trap routes, don't go to Killarney. We were warned that it would be busy with tourists everywhere, and it was. At the end of the day we were tourists too. However, it did not take away... More

The area is still populated ( very sparsely), and the tracks are meant for locals who reside in the area. The tracks are not meant for regular traffic. The tracks would not stand up to more than they currently experience... More

Hi, we didn't walk to Torc I'm afraid, we drove out. It is a distance out of town and we had kids with us which restricted us from walking......but it would be about 1.5 hours walk from Killarney town centre if that helps... More
