Wonderful walks. Terrific natural surroundings. Deer, swallows, heron, and more all visible in the park. Could have better signage in places. Useful tearoom at Deenagh, with a small selection of artwork available, if you're interested in that type of thing. The WC there was not...More

Definitely worth a visit. Killarney and the ring of Kerry, along with many other attractions should not be missed.

I drove thru this area way to quick. We gave it so little time but the memory of its beauty will last a lifetime in my memory. The shades of green and flowers along with the water....great time!

Don't miss a drive round the park, including Mockross house and a stop at Ladies' View. The park is located in the Killarney area, and it offers magnificent views and panoramas of Ireland

It's difficult to review a national park as the key features are nature. A beautiful part of the world though and no trip to Killarney should pass without a trip. The view from ladies view is the best

This is a very large park with many sections for visiting. It is well preserved and maintained. We visited the Abbey, Castle, waterfalls and rode a carriage through the park grounds. Don't miss this lovely part of Ireland if you are in the area.

Spectacular views. Unspoilt nature. Scenic walking routes. Extraordinary plants. Ancient oak woods and Yew woods. Arthur Vincent walk by Muckross House. So much to offer here. This park has no rivals as it is utterly unique. We are so blessed to have it nearby.

I was on a tour and we took a jaunting horse ride thru the park. Our driver was informative and entertaining.

Unfortunately if you don't want tourist trap routes, don't go to Killarney. We were warned that it would be busy with tourists everywhere, and it was. At the end of the day we were tourists too. However, it did not take away... More

The area is still populated ( very sparsely), and the tracks are meant for locals who reside in the area. The tracks are not meant for regular traffic. The tracks would not stand up to more than they currently experience... More

Hi, I'd say an hour each way easily to the lower falls. There is another smaller falls above the main falls but these involve a fairly steep climb. The gardens were really worth the visit. There's another circular walk... More
