We wandered into St Mary's Cathedral during a wedding, nevertheless we were able to see the beauty and light a candle. One thing that I found interesting is that this old building had closed circuit televisions everywhere. If worshippers or wedding guests had filled both...More

The cathedral looks very impressive from the outside, but the inside is very special. The brickwork with supporting stained glass is stunning. A must see cathedral whether you are religious or not.

We were impressed to see how beautiful this cathedral is on the inside. I have never seen this type of stonework inside a cathedral anywhere. It is free to visit and within walking distance of the shops and restaurants in Killarney.

This lovely stone Cathedral is a fine example of the Gothic Revival style. Its construction was interrupted by the Famine. On the grounds, there is a memorial and burial site for child victims of the Famine.

We walked to this cathedral from our hotel and then over to Killarney National Park. This is a beautiful cathedral with wonderful architecture and stained glass windows. It was a warm, sunny day in May and this was a nice, cool stop on our walk.

This Catholic Cathedral is a peaceful sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets outside and a great place for quiet reflection

Gald we stopped in to see the Cathedral. It was worth the visit and one of the more beautiful churches we visited in Ireland.

I heard a concert of choral music in this majestic neo-gothic cathedral. The acoustics were perfect for unaccompanied singing and the church is a beautiful work of art.

I must say I love cathedrals. This one is stunning even just from the outside. I love the stone and stained glass windows on the inside, and how there isn't excess, it's simple yet stunning. The acoustics are great and we were lucky enough to...More
