There are no locks on the cubicle doors in the women's bathroom. There's a very rough atmosphere here, a lot of people smashing glass

Roisin Dubh is a must see venue in Ireland. Great atmosphere and live music. People are friendly and laid back so it is easy to socialize. You can tell the owners really value the arts by providing an awesome platform for up and coming acts as well as more established artists. Would absolutely recommend.

We went for the Tuesday night comedy showcase which was good- good atmosphere and you pay €5 and get the comedy show, pint of Tuborg and entry to the silent disco afterwards. It got really busy from 11pm onwards and there were a number of rooms you could dance and drink in. Would definitely recommend for mid-week visitors to Dublin... More

Came to Roisin Dubh as was rather disappointed with the bars involved in the Gin fest. We dropped in and the place was empty, it was a bit early and maybe just opened. We think the bar does get better later on, so we returned later on and went to the Dirty circus. It was a night of all things... More

Stopped by this bar on our honeymoon to Ireland last week- mostly went for the name- we're big Thin Lizzy fans- but we're so glad we did! Stopped at multiple bars within the pub and spoke to each bartender- they were all so friendly and curious about our travels. There were TWO shows going on- one upstairs and one downstairs-... More

I went to see Karl Blau with a friend on Sunday last Feb 19; they were good with 'Falling Rain' the standout song. Not long after entering the main performance space my friend noticed the scent of cat's pee (something she has noticed before when we've gone to other gigs / performances there); on the way upstairs to use the... We went to Roisin Dubh after buying tickets online for 8e each so weren't expecting much. Blown away is all I can say, the MC for the night was just brilliant and got the crowd going, including shots of jager meister to start off the evening. The comedian for the night Chris Kent was hysterical, we laughed and cried and... More

We were here for ladies night during the Galway races. Great atmosphere ~ lively and upbeat. I had a Guinness. Lots of bands. Friendly staff. Good fun!
