It's good to at least see one of the original buildings of Galway and there is a nice bit of history associated with this building. Be sure to go into the lobby and see the exhibit which explains more about the history of the building...More

Be careful, you could walk right by it! Lynchs Castle is a lovely place loaded with history hidden in plain view!

This building is now a bank in the centre of shop street Galway. The ground floor is open to public but I would suggest getting a tourist guide to explain the history of building when visiting the city

While one can admire the exterior architecture of this "castle," it's now a bank. Don't set your expectations too high.

It is typical touristic thing but looks curious in the middle of the city))) There is in infrmation stand nearby to fill the gap.

This is not a castle, this is a bank inside a fancy building on a popular street. We did enjoy hearing stories about the Lynch family and this building from our guide though, look out for a monkey in the architecture, there is a legend...More
