The harbour is developed and maintained by the Dun Laoghaire Harbour Company who have a masterplan for the future development for the harbour believing that it can become a marine and leisure tourism destination of international calibre.

Very popular area for walking especially on Sundays. Not great for parking but has good public transport. Great views across Dublin bay to Howth Head. Lots to see and do. Sunday market is great

This is so nice to walk on as well as the park to walk around! Dress in layers because it can really get windy on the pier!

Great pier for walking and relaxing. There’s a park with benches adjacent to the beginning of the pier.

I love walking at lunch. Its so beautiful. Its kept so clean and if you feel like it you can buy fresh fish and feed the seals.

It's great for a walk in the evening or to got for a short run (approx. 3kms) . Can be windy at times.

It took about 25 minutes to walk along the East pier to get to the lighthouse. You can walk on various levels - to look out to sea or across the harbour. At the start there were food and drink stalls. Half way round there...More

Beautiful pier, however as a sea-side resort it would've been lovely to have a few stalls along the pier and music playing!

the pier has two levels, which there a steps to access each level. from the pier you will see café and restaurants on the flat, also across from dart station some good restaurants, otherwise there is an incline if you decide... More
