We went to see The Successful TD by JB Keane and were thoroughly entertained in this grand old theatre. As there is no central aisle the rows are long but we were advised by the box office to be in our seat before the 7.30 curtain up because if we were late then we couldn't go in until a suitable... Super venue. A beautiful period theatre , superbly well kept and in the heart of Dublin. Great acoustic environment and lighting superb. Very nice public bar/restaurant areas and rest rooms are gleaming clean. Really good theatre performance and we will be returning soon.

We weren't sure we'd like the play as it covered Irish politics from the 60s and the 70s. But we bought matinee tickets and sat in a box. It took us a while to tune into the Irish accents plus I think I fell asleep for the first ten minutes as I'd just eaten lunch. But the play (The Successful... More

If you should find yourself in Dublin and you're looking to immerse yourself in a bit of culture, then go and see a production at the Gaiety Theatre. A beautiful building, and a true theatre in every sense of the word. Ticket prices are very reasonable and the staff are lovely.

As three regular theatre goers possessing a wonderful sense of humour. We go to the theatre to be entertained, not to see the stuff of nightmares. IE UTTER DEPRAVITY AND VULGARITY. The script was atrocious. We are stunned at the accolades this play has received and at a LOSS to understand WHO would find this play ENJOYABLE or humorous as... More

Beautiful theatre! Super friendly staff and great view of the stage in the dress circle. We saw the final performance of the Pillow Man and it was absolutely fabulous hope it visits the Leeds theatres so I could watch it again!

Stunning classic theatre, prices aren't too bad at the bar and staff are friendly and helpful. We went on the last night of our trip to see The Pillowman and had a fantastic evening! Would recommend as a lovely evening to your trip.

What a lovely theatre. Very well laid out. We had seats in the dress circle and the view was just fine. The staff very helpful. If there is an improvement area I would say to have a couple more staff on the snack bar at interval time as the young man serving was none stop and he didn't handle people... More

What an absolutely lovely, centrally located place. Oh and what a warm and friendly welcome from everyone who works there. It all made me very proud as a returning prodigal son. Highly recommended. The only sadness was, on a Friday night, that the house was half full. So get on with it anyone with an interest in what's best in... More
