Last Saturday night my wife and I had the pleasure of visiting the Gaiety Theatre where Riverdance was showing. It's been 25 years since I last visited this theatre and although it hasn't changed that much it's still a magical place. The soft red velvet...More

A really pretty theatre, I loved all the beautiful mouldings and the chandelier was stunning. Riverdance was as good, if not better than I expected. We flew over on Tuesday(12th June), especially to see it. We were not disappointed. I can’t wait for it to...More

We hesitated because we’ve seen Riverdance twice before in the US. This was better. I agree with other posters. Dublin’s is special—incredible skill and very moving.

I always wanted to go to theater in Dublin. My recent trip allowed me to do so. I was curious to compare to New York and London. There is a considerable, refreshing difference between Dublin and other venues. In Dublin, the actors make the play....More

I really enjoyed the Plough and the Stars in the Gaiety theatre at the weekend. I would highly recommend making it part of your visit to Dublin.

I like the Gaiety. My grandmother danced there in the 1930s; one of my earliest memories is eating an ice-cream at a (forgotten) pantomime. HOWEVER... We queued up for a drink in the interval last night, and were served with about 2 mins to go...More

This was the BEST show I’ve been to for quite a while. Garrett Phillips was outstanding as Frank Sinatra. Mannerisms presence looks and the voice was superb. All other were great but I’m such a Sinatra fan , this is a must see for any...More
