I am always interested in getting to a bookstore when I'm in the UK or another European country, as I'm an avid reader and I like to pick up a few books I normally can't in the states. Hodges Figgis is right near Trinity and...More

This old bookstore does not show any ageing symptoms. It is a world of books, exposed in a very appealing and informative way, carefully distributed by its five or so floors. If reading is one of the best pleasures, visiting a bookstore like this is...More

If you love books, this is the place to lose your money. Get your copy of Dubliners and Dracula from here. Many floors full of books.

One of the few traditional libraries left in Dublin. Beautiful, great atmosphere, great selection and even better customer service. They have an area for toddlers to play in the children section. My kids loved it and I did too. Would highly recommend it.

We didn’t even get a chance to see every room here. It’s extensive in size and selection. The Irish history section was almost overwhelming, as was the Irish literature. We hope to go back before we leave the island.
