If you are looking for a place to stay in Dublin, The Ferryman is comfortable enough. It's location on the Quay is ideal with a short (20 min) walk to the city centre of Dublin. It is close to the theatre and the city tour buses go right by the front door. A full Irish breakfast ( minus black pudding)... More

Went for lunch before we began our Ireland tour. Chef and his assistant (Maggie) recommended beef and Guinness pie (you have to try it before you die). I could die now....Happy! The beef melted in your mouth and tasted fresh and yummy and like a grandmother would make if she had access to a farm in her backyard. Also tried... More

Very bad reception and lack of professionalism of the staff who is also impolite for one of them. Moreover the beer is expensive.

Stayed at the Ferryman on a Thursday through Sunday, and it absolutely did not disappoint, in all aspects. From a few pints of excellent Guinness with great service on arrival, a nice room, excellent breakfast, and overall good atmosphere, our group was delighted with the experience. Nice location also, out of the way of the main city centre thoroughfares, but... More

Great Irish pub with excellent decoration creating a good atmosphere! It was the first pub I visited in Ireland and the Guinness did not disappoint. Excellent for after work drinks.

I went to this bar with some friends of mine visiting Dublin. Just a few words: staff is deadly unfriendly and looked like annoyed by the thing that some of my friends had not the proper English-speaking accent! Really disappointing. This is not the way how to treat customers, especially tourists! On top of that, toilet is stinky and dirty.... More
