A warm welcome always awaits in The Cellar Bar at The Merrion hotel. Located in the original 18th Century wine vaults, with its bare bricked walls and vaulted ceilings, The Cellar Bar is an intrinsic part of Dublin's vibrant social scene. The Cellar Bar features fifty carefully selected wines, available by the glass. Furthermore, to complement the extensive wine offering, Executive Chef, Ed Cooney, has devised mouthwatering lunch and evening menus prepared simply with plenty of Merrion style, a perfect choice when dining in Dublin.

Love the venue - nice formal atmosphere. Good kids options but pricey. Best glass of house wine in Dublin! Food is a little below par. Burger was dry. Pumpkin salad very fresh, but a bit tasteless. Sorbet and ice cream selection disappointing - lacked flavour....More

This place fills up quickly, so get there early! Nice bar atmosphere, and friendly service! Rugby on TV, and specialty drinks were delicious!

Not a place for a stag night party but more for a pre meal drink with your lady love or somewhere to take your parents for a quite night out! The Cellar Bar is a cavernous calm (on the night we went) sophisticated sub-terranean bar...More

Got here early for lunch and had good service and good food. I had the super salad which was great and my gf have the soup and sandwich. The surroundings are nice, lots of wine if you fancy a tipple. All in all good lunch...More

I went there for drinks with a friend at Christmas time. Loved the decor. Feels like you are in a wine cellar. As part of the Merrion Hotel, you can always expect classy decor for the holidays as well.

Nice wine list....food good...not over the top....service very good, staff friendly....the Merrion of course is outstanding....though the Cellar Bar has quite a different ambience to it than the main hotel, common rooms and main bars..more informal in Cellar Bar

Visiting Dublin for the first before cruising. We made a last minute reservation at The Cellar, and so glad we did. We had an incredible meal and service. Would definitely recommend eating here if you are in Dublin!

Great atmosphere and food, because of all the alcoves we were in our own room for a party of 8. We had an assortment of food and beverages that pleased all.
