We really enjoyed this walking tour through Dublin - you don't realize it's two hours as there is just so much to see. Our guide was very knowledgeable, she shared loads of historical insights with us but we also visited a few lovely hidden markets and places two shop.

Most people had free access to the tour through the hop on hop of bus tour tour I had purchased, for my tour a young man who had just graduated Trinity was our host and he was very pleasent and had a good rappor with all the group passing on interesting facts as we toured around the centre of Dublin... Thanks for your kind review. Ronan was the guide and I'll let him know. As regards tips, even though our tour is free, we don't look for tips as the guide receives a wage. However, like you say, a small token would obviously be appreciated as a confirmation of the guide's efforts and success and I thank you for so... More

We stopped in at the Tourist Information Centre and were told that we were just in time for this tour (which was included in the 'Hop-on, hop-off' ticket we had purchased at the airport - I'd recommend that, too). I can't remember the name of our guide, but she was fantastic - she took us around all the main sights,... More

Wonderful, informative and low-key tour. It was a perfectly sized group (about 15), I was worried that if it was too large we wouldn't get much. But the tour guide was very good, no real schtick, just took us on a very informative and interesting tour. Got to sketch the basics of some of the bigger tourist attractions to come... More

I very much enjoyed this Literary Tour of Dublin with Pat Liddy's. He extremely warm, very knowledgable and entertaining, catering for a very mixed audience of French school children and old and well informed Dubliners alike. Highly recommend.

I'll be honest, I was really skeptical about the tour before we purchased it. I had never done a walking tour before and I thought it was going to be about the author's personal life story. However, once the tour started, all of my skepticism went out the window! Pat did an amazing job of giving everyone an overview of... More

This walking tour was part of the Annual Dublin Book Festival & as such was very appropriate. Numbers were limited to 30, suitable for all age groups. Pat's knowledge & delivery were excellent. He was easily heard by all, has a great sense of humour, holds your attention & engages people. Really enjoyed the experience & hope to do some... More

My sister and I had the immense pleasure of taking one of the "Best of Dublin" walks with Darragh during our recent visit. There were six of us on the walk that day which made it such a wonderful experience. Darragh was incredibly knowledgeable and personable and provided a wealth of history and fun tidbits without it ever feeling overwhelming.... More

Our first day in Dublin we took this walking tour as an introduction to the city. Our guide Brendan was one of the best guides I´ve ever had. He knew everything worth to know. He could answer all our questions He was witty and fun. We had a great experience with Pat Liddy´s walking tour!

Pat Liddy is the guide you need if you want an in-depth explication. At all times interesting and never boring, Pat has a good sense of humour and is well able to hold the crowd's attention. Today I did a tour of the Marino district of Dublin and we were about 80 people strong. I will definitely be doing other... More
