Lorcan was our guide - he is a walking encyclopedia of Irish history and culture! I could take this tour 10 times and learn something new each time. We particularly loved his interactions with Dubliners passing by the tour who stopped to chat during his talk and offered additional tidbits of information. The tour starts at a pub, where Lorcan... We had a very enthusiastic guide called Rory that took us through history of Dublin and a bit of Ireland in only 2 hours. Even though the weather was cold he was very accommodating towards the students and told a good story. The story he told of all the hidden nooks and crannies and how they came to be, is... More

This tour is for anyone - you don't need any real advance knowledge of the city or its. history, but by the end you'll feel like an expert! I had a couple of hours to spend in Dublin, so I booked on the 11.30am tour on spec and didn't book in advance. The first part of the tour actually took... More

We met our guide Rory at The International Bar in the hear of Dublin. He welcomed us warmly at once and gave us a leaflet with some background history which we read in the bar whilst waiting for others. We were fortunate to be in a small group on a November, Monday morning. This made the tour more intimate and... More

The guide on this tour was very knowledgeable on Irish history. The walking part didn't cover as many areas as i expected but it was worth the money for the stories told by our guide.

We were on our first trip to Ireland (and Dublin) and have become particularly interested in the Irish Revolution. We saw a bus advertising the 1916 Rebellion Walking Tour. We went online to book (an easy experience). The tour begins at the International Bar, which is centrally located in the city center. We opted to take the new Michael Collins... More

First, I must say, you should be 100% committed to this tour before you book. It is not a short, leisurely walk. It is not a light overview of the events of the 1016 Rising. It is one of the most comprehensive walking tours I've ever taken and one of the most information-intense 1916 Rising experience in which I've partaken.... More

This was an outstanding tour and our guide Lorcan Collins was really impressive. A great overview of the events of 1916 delivered with a great amount of wit and enthusiasm. Highly recommended.

Owen led the tour and was amazing. Brought the history to life and being a walking tour led us to see things in a way a bus tour can't. Was a great and inspirational 2 hours.

Our guide, Eoin, an engaging, friendly young man, prepared us for what we were about to experience with solid, well structured background information in the upstairs room at the International Bar. It was interesting to note that those of us gathered to learn more about the Easter Rising of 1916 consisted of 7 Australians and 5 from the US. Following... More
