Terrific tour with a guide who is not simply reading a script but is steeped in the history and street life of Dublin. Lorcan is an excellent storyteller and used 1916 as a pivot to connect Irish (and world) history to contemporary events. Highly recommended.

I went on the 1916 Rebellion Walking Tour on November 12, 2017. It was the highlight of my trip to Dublin. Lorcan is very knowledgeable and entertaining.I recommend that everyone who visits Dublin should take this walk with him.

Did the walk on 30th October '17. During an introductory talk, Liam, our guide, did a grand job of setting the scene. The walk was well paced, informative, and Liam was EXTREMELY knowledgeable, enthusiastic and engaging. Couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the...More

We have been amazed by this walking tour through Irish culture and history, covering much more than just the brief period of the uprising itself. The tour starts at a Pub, which is easy enough to find with Google Maps. About this Pub: it serves...More
