Lunch and beers

Bar man was very friendly and beers were nice and cold. Ordered a starter of fish cakes as just wanted something small to eat. I received exactly that. One bland fish cake... read more

My husband and I wanted a nice brunch and thought the desserts in the window and the little French cafe looked great, but we were so wrong. I ordered a galette from the menu, but the waitress said she thought they might be all out of galettes. She checked and yes, there was none left so I ordered something else.... More

It is not that difficult to make a nice full irish breakfast. Their pudding were harder than a stone. I could hurt someone with that. Small portion and nothing special. The place doesnt have enough staffs on floor, we had to stand up and ask direct at the counter and to pay. It is a pity cause it is a... More

Attended a birthday party here and I must say it ticked all the boxes. The food was delicious and the craft beers went down a treat. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Great venue for the atmosphere we desired.

We really fancied a French breakfast and this looked perfect from outside. Dreadful service, awful bread - stale and more like a Ciabatta! the croissants tasted funny, and it was really expensive! Don't bother

I was here with a pre-booked group who were enjoying the smoking area out the back, and at one point overheard the manager of this bar, the bouncers of this bar and a young skinhead barman of the pub opposite - the Dame Tavern - discussing how to annoy our group of "posh" revellers. The Dame Tavern then set their... More

Visited with a friend a few weeks back for a drag show. It was a terrible venue for this type of thing. We couldn't see the performers on stage which was really disappointing. Went to the bar at one point, the service was very slow and when we eventually were served we were given the wrong drinks. I definitely wouldn't... More

Very slow service, food definitely wasn't worth the wait. Definitely not a fresh burger and certainly not worth €13.50.

We were there for a concert with the John Byrne Band and Home Brew. Concert was great. Venue was a little small but it worked out OK.

Bar man was very friendly and beers were nice and cold. Ordered a starter of fish cakes as just wanted something small to eat. I received exactly that. One bland fish cake complete with a few plain lettuce leaves with no dressing. €6.95 absolute rip off. Myself and my friends were given our bill and bill was under €30 so... More

This hotel is in a great location for temple bar. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was good to. When we arrived we had ear plugs left in our room, and immediately thought OMG were not going to sleep tonight, but we didn't hear anything for the 2 nights we were there.
