We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Cathal! He was so knowledgeable about the city and Irish history. We hit all the key places and he made great recommendations of places to eat and sites to see on the rest of our visit.

We did a wonderful three hour walking tour of Dublin with Garvan. He was humorous, fun, factual and attentive. We chatted with great ease. I would HIGHLY recommend Garvan if you are in the Dublin area.

It doesn't hurt to ask Dublin Tour Guides if they can drive you to some of the places they take you to although it may be a challenge to find parking for each stop. Perhaps you offer to pay for two guides? One to drive and... More
