Overview

Peadar Kearney’s on Dame street is a traditional pub with strong historic roots. The pub is named after a musician who composed Abhrán na BhFiann (The Irish national anthem). We continue this tradition with nightly traditional, toe tapping music. One of the regular musicians, Brian Brody, is a must see for any tourist visiting the city. He’s a one man atmosphere machine. There’s a basement bar downstairs when upstairs overflows, which also caters to most sporting events. If you’re looking for somewhere with temple bar music and atmosphere without the prices, take a look at Peadar’s.

Great little pub with a great atmosphere, live sport and cheap prices! I wish we would have found this pub at the start of the trip.

A great little hidden gem, wish we had found it earlier on in our visit as we would have most definitely spent more time here. Cracking tunes, met the artist Maurice and friendly bar staff! Will return :)

Stumbled in for first drink of 'proper Guinness'. It did not disappoint. A super atmosphere in this place. We stayed a while and had a few Guinness. Locals and tourists alike seem welcome.

A fine traditional pub in the middle of the city. Called in on a couple of afternoons and few tourists and locals mixed together. Does a good pint of Guinness. Will surely visit again on next trip to Dublin
