Dawson Street is one of the best places in Dublin both for buying books and CDs and for having lunch at a reasonable price in Lemon or in Dolce Sicily. It is a bit more jammed currently, because of the LUAS works but it is...More

Except all different stores, you also can fin some restaurants and bars. And in the end of the street, nearby St. Stephen's Green you have Celtic Whiskey Shop with a really great range of liquor of all kind.

Some quirky places along this Street - particularly the pubs at the top end by Stephen's Green. The Masion House is a key site for any tourist. Be warned, the street is being dug up at the moment, but don't let this put you off....More

Lots of construction going on here, so the street is not at its best. It has several interesting cafes and a very large book store, so that might be worth your time. It's a shorter street, and for now, much less impressive than Grafton St.

I was inspired to spend more time on Dawson Street (instead of the more popular Grafton Street) by the TA reviews. Thank you Tripadvisor, and thanks too to letterkennycaint and petercurran. I looked it up on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dawson_Street) in preparation for a whole day's research....More

No, there are still building works going on down the street as there are a number of building projects going on at once.
