Good Old Fashion Cinema

We have been to this cinema whenever we have visited Dublin. The tickets are well priced and the seating is very comfortable. Good location away from the maddening crowd.

Participated in Bram Stoker Festival 2014 screening Curse of Styria. Specialty, independent and foreign films. Great place to get out of the rain for a while then across the street to an intimate pub.

The Screen is fairly average cinema. It has quite an old feel. The prices are reasonable and they have special student discounts. The location is good, right in the centre of things. There is nothing particularly note worthy of the place.

I love this little cinema! It’s far away from the commercial, busy, rushed, stuffy, non-personal, pricey experience other cinema’s have to offer in Dublin! Staff are so friendly. Location is so central. Seats are comfy. They show a nice range of different types of films. Major plus – you NEVER have to queue for the toilet!! They have recently given... More

I used to go to this cinema quite often last year, but stopped and there was a good reason for it. No matter was it summer or winter, inside the cinema it was freezing! The pricing was quite reasonable (comparing to other cinemas), but still a no-no, when you have to sit through the whole film in your winter jacket... More

Looks awful from the outside and isn't very modern or big on the inside but there's something very homely about this cinema which usually shows at least one blockbuster and one foreign film. It seems to only take one person to run both the ticket booth, popcorn stall and cinema on quiet days!

I love this cinema. It's away from the more "blockbuster" films so you really do get to watch a film in peace!

This is a good alternative to the big cinemas in the city. Nice little indy place with friendly staff. They show a decent mix of films and I like to support them, even for the more mainstream movies. They're range of independent films is impressive for such a small place.

The screen is not quite art-house but does show indie and un usual movies . It also shows some main-steam movies. The staff are friendly and the patrons like to talk to you

Went to see the new Bond movis (Skyfall). What can I say? Friendly staff, especially in the bar. Seats were comfortable and the only fault was not the ciname but a the usual few plonkers that 'up' the decibels with incessant eating of crisps/sweets from packets!
