About
Since John Jameson's brave first steps into this building in 1780, we've been focused on his ambition to create unforgettable experiences (along with great whiskey, of course). The new look Jameson Distillery Bow St. carries on this ambition through five fully guided experiences: Bow St. Experience Distillery Tour, Premium Whiskey Tasting, Whiskey Blending Class, Whiskey Cocktail Making Class, and a Cask Draw Experience in Dublin's only Live Maturation Warehouse - all of which have a firm focus on immersive storytelling. You'll be invited to touch, smell, and most importantly, taste Jameson in the original Bow St. Distillery buildings. Stay to enjoy the World’s Leading Distillery Tour at this historical landmark and tribute to the craft of Irish whiskey making!

    Such a fun cocktail experience
Took the mixology cocktail making tour. Amy was our instructor and she was amazing! Very engaging, we were a small group of 9. But the tour was a lot of fun. Amy had such a positive personality and it was great to learn about the ins and outs of making a cocktail. We made a total of 2 drinks, one spiced amaretto sour and a shaken old fashion. We had another drink made for us by Amy which was a delicious punch. She was also very accommodating to ensure those who couldn’t eat egg had an alternative to still enjoy the drinks made. I’m happy to know this establishment has such options. She made us feel comfortable and cracked lots of jokes through out. She even stayed to talk with us even after the tour concluded. We were given a cocktail book to take with us that included all the recipes from the drinks we made along with others. I’m not a whiskey drinker but this tour made it enjoyable and tasty. It was a great experience and I did this solo. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting and hopefully they get to have Amy as their instructor too. Lovely time! :)
Hello Trail56983687633, Thank you for taking the time to share your amazing feedback! We are delighted that you enjoyed your cocktail making class and had fun with Amy. Hopefully we'll see you again soon! Jameson Distillery Team

Was such a fun, interesting and informative experience. An absolute must visit and great value for money. The whole thing was made so much better by our lovely tour guide Erin. We loved her and want her to be our bestie!

    Fun day with blending class
We did the black barrel blending class. The class was led by Erin who was very informative and light hearted in her approach. I've done the secret tasting and general tour and I think has been my favourite experience of the three. You get a general talk, taste whisky straight from the cask and then sample different whiskeys to blend your own little bottle. Good fun day out with pals

    Cocktail Class is a standout!
The Jameson Distillery experience was the highlight of our trip to Dublin! We did the Cocktail Class - it was about an hour along and only had 16 participants. Our instructor was fantastic and walked us through making an Old Fashioned, Whiskey Sour and a group Jameson Punch. Well worth the money and I would definitely do this class again and recommend to any visitors!

Good tour, good whiskey, even better bar
A must go in Dublin if you enjoy whiskey. Friendly and knowledgable staff. We did the tour with cask draw which was good value overall, even if the local gift shop store in the destillery is a bit overpriced. Do not miss the cocktail bar within! Honestly great drinks. Might even be worth a visit even if you feel no attraction towards tours.

Delightful afternoon at Bow St. Distillery
I have been to several visitor experience for alcohol, but must say I quite like the arrangement of the Bow Street experience. Every participant of the experience was first served a whisky cocktail (or pure whisky shot if you wish). We then went through a presentation of the Jameson and the whisky production process with aroma paper strips and other visual implements. The experience concluded with a tasting of 3 whisky samples. The guide debriefed us from the appearance to the nose, palette and after taste. The three samples were quite distinct and easy to go in. As a person who occasionally appreciates whisky, I must say the highlight is the cask draw experience in addition to the general experience. We were brought to a specially conditioned cask room and tried on whisky drawn from a sherry cask. The whisky was much richer and complex than the mainstream variants on supermarket shelves, owing to a much longer maturation period. Don't worry it's not a sherry bomb but a very all-round mature whisky that was pleasant to drink.

Definitely a must do experience for visitors to the Emerald Isle. You will learn a lot and have fun.
We did the Secret Whiskey Experience Tour. Josh did a great job in educating us while making it very fun. All of the staff were friendly and fun. We also had fun talking with Conor as we were shopping and purchasing in the gift shop. We were fortunate to visit on a slower day and it really felt very personalized. We had a few friends recommend this stop and it definitely did not disappoint. My wife was already a whiskey fan and I wasn’t but they definitely converted me, and we found new to us whiskey styles.

    Black Barrel Blending Class
Any tour at Bow St is worth your time. The history of the site alone is so interesting. We went on the Black Barrel Blending Class and had a great time. Erin a great tour guide and kept us on our toes. She was witty and knowledgeable. I highly recommend you take a tour with her and you won't be disappointed. Don't forget to bottle your own Black Barrel, you won't be sorry.

    Jameson Tour with tasting
Enjoyed the Jameson Bow Street Tour. Our guide was excellent. She was informative and best of all she controlled four unruly/impolite/tipsy clients with tact so that others could enjoy the tour. Our guide stayed behind at the tour's conclusion to answer privately asked questions and provide us with additional tips. The gift shop was slightly disappointing, but overall a recommended experience.

Although it is not really a tour of the old distillery, the visit is definitely worth it and allows us to learn more about the history and particularities of Jameson whiskey. A glass is included in the price of the ticket to wait for your slot then the visit is broken down into 3 workshops: history, production and tasting with 3 different whiskeys. Our guide was particularly interesting with English that we managed to understand as French people, and the explanations were very clear. The interactive side and small groups really allowed us to be immersed in the DNA of the brand. And above all we come out of there half drunk.

Signed up for a whiskey and chocolate tasting experience here. It was quite expensive but we decided to splurge like we were rich people and im happy to say it was well worth the money ! The speciality chocolates made by the local chocolatier to pair specifically with the whiskeys we tasted were delicious. The whiskeys we tried were all so smooth and it was pretty cool trying some of these very expensive/premium whiskeys. I am not a drink hard liquor straight kind of person but I had zero problem finishing off the whiskeys. We also were able to pull whiskey from one of the production barrels which is part of a blend they only release once a year at the storehouse and it was so cool to do and try. Our experience guide was very knowledgable, relaxed and was passionate about what he was doing and the information that he was sharing. I’m so bad with names but a shoutout to him from the 12/9/23 experience at 17:15. Best of all the tasting was held in their barrel production room which was kind of amazing to experience the tasting in. Of course the good whiskey put us all in a good mood and the atmosphere was comfortable enough to laugh and have fun with the 6 other people in our group and our tasting leader kept the atmosphere fun and light. This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Dublin and if you’re feeling high end/bougie and you want to do something that feels special, it’s definitely worth dropping the extra cash for. The whiskey cocktails we had at the decked out Christmas bar were also outstanding. There seems to be quite a few different tour experiences and tasting things here, the one we did was definitely worth it and one of the highlights of our trip.

So, we took this tour first thing in the morning (10am), and it was therefore also the first tour of the morning. The first few minutes we were just wandering around near the starting point when they made sure that all who were coming had arrived and then our guide Beyonce (just kidding! Our guide was Rhianna) collected us together and took us to the first room. The table worked as a video screen - only it did no work and after several tries Rhianna took us to alternative room and after two tries there we got started. She took it all with grace and good humour and our experience was in no way hindered by the initial porblems. The tour lasted about 45 minutes ending with a whiskey tasting. We tried three different whiskeys by Jameson and Rhianna explained them and answered our questions. It was a very enjoyable experience and once the tour was over we could stay in the bar for a spell and enjoy our grog. Now, I must point out that Jameson's is no longer an active distillery, so if that is what you want to see, there are working distilleries in Dublin, too, but this was a good tour, good lesson in history and the lenght was about just right.

We did the 'secret' tasting, which was fine. It was a limited amount of people so the room was comfortable, and it felt less touristy than the big group tours. Our guide was fine, but honestly wasn't as knowledgeable about whiskey as I would expect on a tour like this. Having done a few other tours here in Ireland and Scotland, his knowledge fell short by comparison. Surprised, bc Jameson is the biggest brand in Ireland.

My father and I did the secret tastings tour and really enjoyed our visit. Our guide was quite passionate about whisky and did a great job walking us through the barrel process. It was professionally done and we thought the tour was worth the money (even though we didn’t care for all of the whiskys on offer). Just be careful when arriving at the facility - we were hassled by a drug addict outside of the complex who would not leave us alone, and our taxi driver also warned us about the neighborhood.

Worst experience ever!!!! Don’t go here! They charged tickets to our group of 25 people, and then literaly kicked us out because we asked our tour guide just to put at least a smile when talking to us. Totally unexplainable, none of us used a single impolite word. Chery on top was that they refused to give us the money back for the tickets. I assume this happened because we are Slavic???? Shame on you Jameson Distillery Bow St.

We booked the small tour in advance, which was carried out in a manageable group of 12 - 14 people.

A cheerful Irishman led us through the tour, which was informative for us even as non-whiskey drinkers.

With a little virtual support, but at the same time with the rustic charm of a pub, we were led through several rooms where Jameson was told from the beginnings to the present day.

In the next room, the process of whiskey production was explained to us virtually, including smell testing.

Then we went to the tasting, where we were able to try 3 small glasses, each with 3 types of whiskey.

The exit then led through the souvenir shop, and then at the end we had a free drink in the bar.

Overall, a great tour, which, unlike similar tours in Dublin, is much more personal and informative.

Including the special humor of an Irishman.

Keep it up, “Jameson”!

Me and my wife did the Secret Tasting Room Experience, and this was one of the best things we did in the week we were in Dublin.

We got to sit in a room and taste 3 very different Whiskeys under Jameson's label. The guide was fun and gave us a bit of history (but brief) before we got to tasting. She walked us through the flavor profiles and how to "properly" taste whiskey. This was a fun but intimate atmosphere with a dozen people and the guide and we all had fun with it.

Lastly, we got to go into one of the aging rooms with all the barrels and try the 18 year Jameson Whiskey. This was easily the best whiskey we've ever had, mind blowingly delicious (and we'd have taken some home if it weren't mind blowingly expensive). The actual room was cool too and you got to see the barrels up close.

Eat before you come, otherwise you might leave a bit tipsy ;)

Visited a distillery. located, as they would say in Russia, in a former industrial zone, where whisky was previously produced. But production has now moved to another location, outside Dublin. And this place is like a museum. You can try whiskey or a cocktail while you're waiting for a tour guide. The first room begins with the story of the Jameson family and how they came to make whiskey. In the second room, whisky production technology is explained and whisky tasting is conducted.
