To Ireland, you should look up the past leaders & formation regarding the government/politics of this beautiful country. This statue is a fine representation of such history. Totally worth looking for.

The history behind this statue is unbelievable. It has taken over 100 years for James Connolly to be recognized as the hero he was.

Probably one of my 3 favorite monuments in Dublin, tucked off of the main drag, but very easy to find. I was aware of Connolly's involvement in The Easter Uprising, but didn't know about his contributions to the labour movement A true hero.
