One of the attractions in the Temple Bar area is the lovely "Halfpenny Bridge" which spans the River Liffey connecting Wellington and Ormand Quays and Liffey Street Lower with Crown Alley. It's a relatively small one, but it's iconic in Dublin. You see this bridge...More

Lovely bridge crossing the Liffey river. Kind of trademark of Dublin you have to see when visiting the town. Next to Temple Bar area, and so also many other sights.

Dublin has many bridges to cross the river Liffey and this one is quite lovely with some plaques explaining how it came about.

A nice short cut across the Liffey, free from the normal hubub of traffic. The whole riger area is attractive and this is the gem of it all.

This old bridge allows nice pictures over the Liffey River, I suggest to watch it from the Millennium bridge, where you can get some very good pics.

White ornate metal bridge from the 19th century leading from the north to the south side of the river more or less to the Temple Bar area. Good for romantic photos

Its a pretty bridge full of history, I dont think you can go to Dublin without walking across it and looking down the Liffey.

Great photo ops here day and night - much busier during the day as folks use this primarily to cross the Liffey.

Named because it used to cost a Half Penny (Ha'Penny) to walk across. Just a foot fridge, but quaint.
