When visiting Dublin we love to drive and leave the car and walk down to the Our Lady statue. Views are amazing. This is a great walk for young and old. Loads of families are always walking it. The beach is sandy. You will feel refreshed after walking and getting loads of fresh air.

I've visited Bull Island many times over a long number of years. It is one of THE great public amenities in Dublin - and it's free! Great place to stroll, either aling the strand or along the North Bull Wall ffrom the wooden bridge. Dollymount strand is quite flat, so it might be quite a walk out into the sea... More

Sunny day today and we reached the island by 5.30 .. There were many people in the beach enjoying .. Enjoyed an ice cream treat from the icecream van. Then walked towards the water ... In some places water is full of algae .. In some places it's crystal clear .. Tides become high at times .. It was wonderful... More

There are not many places like this! Very romantic place. Dunes with grass make lovely scenery. Wide beach ideal for a long walk or playing a ball.
