Freud Project

Very nice exhibit. I was totally unaware of his work, really liked it. He captured faces really well.

We went to IMMA for the art but found there was so much more! The architecture alone was worth the visit... then there was the funky little cafe downstairs with a wonderful menu, oh... and did I mention the glorious gardens that I could have spent hours meandering through...

Beautiful building put to good use The former Royal Hospital is located, between lans and gardens near Heuston Station. The upkeep is very good and the space in it put to good use with exhibitions of Modern Art. Very nice to visit, and don't format the café in the cellar. Nice menu for Coffee and Lunch.

Beautiful grounds! Did not go in the museum as not much of a gallery fan - however the gardens alone are worth a visit. So well looked after and extremely aesthetically pleasing. Almost looks like a maze - you could easily while away an hour or so relaxing or walking around.

We loved this museum. It was very interesting! We were lucky enough to go through the museum with our friend who works there. We had inside and thorough information on everything in the museum!

We didn't enter this building but travelled to and around it. The courtyards surrounding it are beautiful and huge. There are fields and trees and pathways all beautifully adorned with art, plants and structures. Some castle remains lie here and there. There are gorgeous fountains and flowerbeds and the building is just breathtaking. Highly recommend taking the time to walk... More

I was not to excited for the museum, than I was excited to visit the gardens. They are on the right side of the museum and kinda hard to spot, but totally worth the trouble!

A stroll on these grounds is quite rewarding - simply beautiful. The collection is limited and candidly, depressing. The cafe is over-priced. The staff are very friendly and at least it is free...

There is really nothing worth seeing here. The building is probably more impressive than the art on display.... pity there are no explanations about the buildings.OK if you live in Dublin, but not worth it if you are visiting unless you have a particular interest in the exhibits that happen to be on display. At least it is free.
