We had booked the tour online so that we would save time on arrival but as so often happens we ended up being 30 mins late anyway. Staff were very helpful and radio'd the tour guide to find out where he was so we would be able to find the group easily without wandering aimlessly. The group was at the... More

Very interesting tour with a great guide in Niall. He was knowledgeable, funny, and on point in his delivery of the closing lines of Patrick Pearse's speech at Glasnevin. Well worth going while in Dublin.

This place is amazing. It's so gothic and there's 15 million people buried there! You're free to walk around the cemetery and there's also an exhibition on the history of it, as well as computers so you can research who's buried there. Definitely worth a stop off.

What an excellent tour, you are not only shown the resting places of famous Dubliners but also given a History lesson. Our tour guide, Bridget, was super knowledgeable and super passionate about her City & it's past. I would thoroughly recommend this experience. Oh, there's also the museum to visit as part of the fee,

I just did the free walk through of the cemetery and loved it. Next time I will do the tour. Lots of history in the cemetery, just like in Ireland.

My advice is to take a guided tour through this incredible cemetery which is just filled with historical facts, very interesting crypts, stones, memorials, etc. You really learn so much through your tour guide.

So much history in one place, went looking for the 4 Victoria Cross awardees buried in the Cemetery, found so much more. Found 21 paving stones to people from Ireland awarded the VC in the Great War (more are been placed all the time). The history of Ireland can be found in this one place, many of Ireland's leading men... More

Be sure to take a guided tour. It is so worth it. You get way more history and information. We were late that day as a group so had no time to spend in the actual museum/shop. The monuments are incredible!

The only cemetery tour I have ever had which had me giggling like a school kid. Professionally delivered with more than a hint of Irish humour. Loved every minute of it including all historical information. Recommended.
