A lovely place to rest or grab a coffee/snack in this little library. There is also a children's area with activities and a full floor exhibit on the religions of the world.

Recommended by our tour guide on our free Dublin walk. Lots of manuscripts about the three major religions and how these impacted the written word. Worth spending an hour or so.

The Chester Beatty Library was on my "must visit" while in Dublin. My husband and I experienced seeing the writings of ancient Egypt on papyrus and other scholarly Buddhist, Christian, Judea, and Muslim early writings. The bonus it was all free.

This is an excellent museum for those interested in manuscripts and religion. An extensive collection of beautifully illuminated texts, particularly Islamic. The restaurant and gift shop are also worth exploring/partaking.
