Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our family, which included 3 children ages 7-11, had an epic experience with Steven at GAA in Galway. Steven was a patient and fun teacher who offered us the basics of both hurling and Gaelic football. We highly recommend this experience!

Immense fun.
A group of 16 of us were in Ireland for a stag-do, from across the UK and Switzerland. The 4 hours flew by and the welcome we received from Georgina, Brian, Martin and Cormac was absolutely fantastic and we didn't stop laughing for the entire visit.
They are highly knowledgeable and passionate about the Gaelic games and their club; this certainly rubbed off on our group, who were metaphorically turning cartwheels during and after our visit.
This would make a great team building event as well and is something totally different and allows everyone to get involved.
If you go to Dublin, make sure you visit - you can't afford to miss out!

This was a fantastic and enthusiastic introduction to the Gaelic games, by people who have an obvious and infectious love of the game. Great start to the day and I witnessed a number of stag and hen does taking the opportunity to avail of the opportunity to experience Gaelic Games as part their planed weekend activities.

My daughter found this event on line and although I was apprehensive if I could do it, we signed up. So glad we did. It was super fun. The instructors do a wonderful job of teaching techniques and challenging you without pushing too hard. It was interesting to learn the history of the games and was impressive how these clubs keep the tradition going thru the generations. Their pride and enthusiasm for the games come thru and it makes for a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended.

We went for a trip to Dublin with 7 guys and decided to run our hangovers away at the Gaelic Games! It was great fun! After a good reception and instruction by Georgina and Brian, we had a great time. Thanks so much!

This was definitely the single most fun thing we did while in Ireland (we were there for a few days). The instructor takes everyone through three traditional, popular Irish games: Irish football, handball, and hurling. The instructor was really friendly, as was the lady who organized everything. They both knew a lot about the games and the technique. It was a good mix of learning some technique, and running around playing. We had a large range of people in our group - some nervous moms, some dads who wanted to show off, and some impressively enthusiastic kids. My friend and I are early 20s aged, as was another girl in the group. And everybody had fun! Highly recommend.

I brought over a School Hockey Team of 34 boys aged between 12 and 15 and four members of staff from a school on Merseyside. Georgina had arranged for us a package of a morning of Gaelic Football and Hurling together with a visit to Croke Park the next day. Georgina met us as soon as we got off our minibuses and from that moment and for the next 3 and half hours Georgina and her staff took over . The boys had no real idea of what to expect but they were enthralled by the whole Gaelic experience and to be honest they would have stayed all day but for the fact that we had hockey matches in the afternoon. The boys were given instructions on both sports together with coaching and then the competitive element kicked in as they were allowed to play a couple of matches.
The boys loved it and the visit to Croke Park the next day allowed the boys to have a further insight into what Gaelic Games is all about .
We had struggled when we first got to Dublin finding our way around and when we finished with the Gaelic Games Experience we needed to go to South Dublin to play a couple of Hockey Matches. Cormac went out of his way and drove us through the centre of Dublin for 20 minutes to help us.
This is the kind of customer service and going the extra mile that makes the whole experience a success.

I took a group of high school lacrosse players to Ireland and we saved this activity to the final day. The coaches were actually players on this locations GAA club and it was great for my athletes to work with them. We were definitely more athletic and experienced then the others in the group but they separated us my skill level so all could enjoy. We got to experience hurling, gaelic football, and handball. We saw a video on the importance of the games and the basics. Then we headed out to the pitch where we worked don the basic movements building up to the game. Everyone in the group at a great time and I would highly recommend to any athletic group heading over. Thanks Georgina!

We loved learning about the sports and their impact on Irish culture. Also loved actually playing them! Perfect amount of time doing skill building drills and gameplay. One of our favorite experiences in Dublin! Highly recommend!

Hi David
We are most certainly open on Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th March - but please be aware that Monday 28th is planned as the public celebration of the centenary of the 1916 Rising in Dublin - There are plans for the biggest street celebration ever held in the city -google dublin easter 2016 for details - so getting around might be fun!! Being here will be great anyway! Hope this helps.
