Phoenix Park enthralls and inspires at so many levels. Unlike American-English-French absurdly manicured lawn "parks", Dublin's Phoenix Park celebrates wild grass blowing gently in the soft Irish breeze, long walks through select beaten down paths through enormous fields, undulating hollows and gentle rises with copses...More

Phoenix Park is a great place to get out and stretch your legs walking, running or biking. Loads of great trails and routes and close to downtown. I ran past several monuments and a herd of Fallow Deer.

A very nice park with many different things to do. It worth renting a bicycle to have a ride around the park. 3 hours are sufficient.

We spent an afternoon here napping, eating cheese from the local market, and wondering around trying to see the deer. Very large park! Nothing very special but enjoyable if you like relaxing in a park

I feel like we only saw a fraction of what the park had to offer. We weren't planning on staying too long, so we didn't go see the zoo for $17 a person. But without some sort of map we really didn't know which direction...More

What can you say, this is a park to end all parks, all 1750 acres of it. They even managed to cram in 1 million people into the place with Pope John Paul came to town. You can drive in the park, cycle run or...More

The park itself is free. I believe the zoo charges. Make sure you have deer food with you, they are used to get food from people and you are allowed to feed them. Hope that helps, have a great trip.

I was in the Phoenix Park last Sunday and in particular in Dublin Zoo. The only public toilets are in restaurants or in the Zoo itself Point well made. over to the OPW
