It is amazing how they have managed to preserve such a huge plot of land in Dublin. Within the park, there is the Irish President's official residence (and you can pay for a guided tour as i was told by a local), the American embassy,...More

Be sure to walk around to all the statues and memorials but watch out for the kamikaze seagulls, we had some close encounters!

Took the bus from Ranelagh, Dublin and walked around the park to the Heuston Station. Sunny and brisk day. The Pope had just visited there a few days earlier.

I remember coming to the Park back in the 1970ts to get chestnuts from the massive trees. It really has not changed since them and great vast areas of space. Walking around is wonderful. Well worth a visit and spend a few hours here.

Hi, It depends, I do not believe that anyone would object if you were, for example having lunch with some nice cheese, bread and sharing a bottle of wine. However if you were miss-behaving like a couple of drunken idiots... More

Ed Sheeran is performing in the Phoenix Park tonight and if Katie hasn't figured the yellow route by now it's probably too late! Hope you enjoyed the gig.
