I hadn't been back for thirty years and it hadn't change (except for the prices). The barman wasn't particularly friendly in fact he was a bit abrupt. As he's dealing with tourists, he could make an effort. The prices were expensive, but Dublin is and particularly around this location. The toilets are certainly Victorian and need revamping.

Traditional Irish pub. Very comfortable. Very good price for a sandwich. Don't expect any trimming but a lovely place to relax and take a break from the shopping. Staff and service good.

The toilets are so bad that it puts you off your drink. Give it a miss, plenty of really nice well run bars in Dublin to enjoy.

Fab pub just off Grafton Street...bar man straight as a dime...no friendliness just straight 'what do you want?' quite a character...nice and clean with plenty of seats inside as well as a few covered seats outside

We were here with our friends ,really proud Dubliners . And rightly so. The bow tied barman was friendly funny and charming. We settled for their recommended salmon sandwiches and it did not disappoint. Plain unfussy fresh salmon was delicious, washed down with a glass of Guinness. Perfect lunch in cosy wee snug. Faultless experience for us !

As often before , I thoroughly enjoyed the fresh salmon sandwich with a perfect glass of Guinness upstairs in Neary's . Surrounded by loyal customers of this exceptional hostelry , it is so good that this simple but sublime lunch continues to be offered in this fine establishment .

We stayed close by to this pub and visited every day . They serve food during lunchtimes which consists of soup , sandwiches, toasted sandwiches and full salads . There is a range of traditional beers and lagers etc . Service was good and the bartenders were friendly . During lunchtime it gets busy with local business men popping in... More
