A magnificent cathedral that houses Jonathan Swift's remains (he wrote Gulliver's Travels). It is the only remaining cathedral in Ireland with a daily sung services. A small entrance fee is charged for tourists and all money raised goes back to paying for the upkeep of the building.

This is a beautiful gothic church with everything one would expect to see in such a structure. What is special about this church, however, is that the well which St. Patrick reportedly used to baptize local people into Christianity is nearby. The garden also is...More

St Patrick's Cathedral, the largest church in Ireland, was a fascinating place to visit. The 12th century interior is vast and expansive and the glass stained windows are exquisite. It has a serene atmosphere but it does require a decent amount of time to explore...More

The cathedral is beautiful and full of ancient history of Ireland and Catholic Church in general, despite this is now a Anglican Church since St. Patrick and his role spreading christianism in Ireland

The majesty and overwhelming beauty of this historic building is palpable! Don't just take a picture from the exterior...visit the inside and you won't be disappointed!

Waited over 1/2 hour to enter. Interesting history, including that Jonathan Swift preached here, but not worth the money or wait. It is an Anglo-Irish Church, NOT a Catholic Church. Beautiful gardens outside that can be entered without admission fee or wait.

St. Patricks cathedral- two thumbs up. Stained glass was beautiful, lots of kids activities and the park was beautiful. Caught a wedding and they played 15 minutes of bells. This was our favorite tour of the day and worth the 6€
