Train trip on Belmonds luxury train left much to be desired. Poor management and inability to return to train when one wished created a lot of dissatisfaction. Communication regarding off train activities and timing was well short of what one would expect. Food generally ok...More

They did a good job of making travel to some beautiful places easy. I usually book my own travel but this trip of heading to cork & ring of Kerry and Killarney was easy and inexpensive.

Yes, you can train to Killarney one day and return the next.. Killarney has tour services available. Check on the Internet. You can book a one day tour for The Ring of Killarney and catch an evening train back to Dublin.
